Swansea host Middlesbrough at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday, April 2. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Swansea play host to Middlesbrough in a relegation crunch match on Sunday. The Swans are hovering just above the relegation zone on 27 points with Middlesbrough five points back from them in 19th place. Paul Clement should be confident in his side’s chances in this match as the Welsh club have won their last three home matches. The Swans can also look at this game as a revenge match after Boro handed them one of their heaviest defeats of the season, beating them 3-0 at the Riverside in December.
Middlesbrough showed heart in their last league game against Manchester United but that kind of performance is not going to keep them in the Premier League. The side from the north east need to be dogged and although a draw would not be a great result, a point could be crucial in the long run. Swansea are certainly the better side on paper and they should be pushing for the win from the get go in this match. If they can take all three points it could go a long way to gaining them safety as the both Hull and Sunderland have tough games on Saturday.
