Twitter explodes over The Hardy Boyz returning at WrestleMania 33

Twitter was abuzz over The Hardy Boyz making a surprise return at WWE WrestleMania 33 on Sunday night.

WrestleMania is always full of surprises and there was a major one in Orlando on Sunday night. As the RAW Tag Team Championship Triple Threat Ladder match was set to begin, The New Day came out and announced that a fourth team was entering the match. Instead of entering themselves in the match, The Hardy Boyz made a surprise return.

The crowd at Camping World Stadium lost their minds as one of the greatest tag teams in professional wrestling history made their return. They weren’t the only ones that went crazy, as Twitter lost their minds over them returning as well.

If their return wasn’t enough, they put on an incredible match and became seven-time tag team champions by winning. It’s a much needed return for Matt and Jeff Hardy. This is something that is going to be great for Monday Night RAW.

The added star power and popularity of The Hardy Boyz is something that will be huge for the company. Having them involved in a big way each week is only going to likely drive interest up in the tag team scene.

Twitter reactions clearly are telling as the fans are excited over their return. Whether or not they use their “broken” gimmick will remain to be seen but the announcers didn’t shy away from using the term excessively.
