2. These Los Angeles Lakers

Let’s not talk about basketball. The basketball is bad. I’m sick of the basketball. When the Lakers do basketball things they make me upset.

Unfortunately, when they do front office things I don’t become much happier. There is not much to be done this year. Unless they decide to leak their potential targets on Twitter, they are hamstrung until the offseason. Until then it’s just rumor and anticipation. Magic has no experience, Rob Pelinka might be fine but whatever, and Jeannie Buss probably feels secure for the first time. Are these things good? Maybe. But nothing can happen yet. We’re left with coach Dane Cook and the basketball things.

They beat the Grizzlies! Yay! Yay for them!

Unfortunately, before that they lost to the Clippers. And before that they lost to the Timberwolves. And before that they lost to the Wizards. And before that they lost to the Trail Blazers.

But before that they beat the Timberwolves!

But before that they lost to the Clippers. And before that they lost to the Cavaliers. And before that they lost to the Bucks. And before that they lost to the Rockets. And before that they lost to the Nuggets. And before that they lost to the 76ers!
