Lions jersey leaks: What does it look like?
With the Detroit Lions expected to unveil new jerseys for the 2017-2018 season and onwards, here is what they could possibly look like.
The Lions last changed their uniforms back in 2009, and are about to do so again in 2017. Since signing with Nike in 2012, the Lions have been working closely with them to design new uniforms for the players.
Earlier in February, team president Rod Wood made an announcement to the media.
"We worked very closely with the league and Nike in designing the uniforms and had several different options presented to us before we finally settled on the one that we’ll unveil on April 13. And I think you’ll be pleased. I think the fans will be pleased."
Reports from Pro Football Talk indicated that there would be a new home, road, alternate and color rush uniform set.

The Lions also announced that the team colors would be silver and Honolulu blue (cause, why not?).
But, has the team leaked the uniforms without even realizing? The Detroit Lions recently sent out an email to their season ticket holders and an image of the ticket surfaced.
It seemed like the players on the ticket were in fact wearing the new jerseys that will be unveiled later today.
In the tweet, the Lions players are featured wearing jerseys that haven’t been seen before. It looks like Stafford has on the home jersey that’s solid honolulu blue. The shoulder pad area seems to have a different color than before as well.

The Lions are set to unveil the new jerseys in a few hours, but fans in Detroit and the NFL are eagerly waiting to see what they look like. Heads up, Lions, usually these kind of things aren’t met with much praise.
