We have four midweek games on the FanDuel EPL Soccer slates. We are here to help you with tips, picks, analysis and lineups to cash in Premier League daily fantasy!

The weekend gave us two very different FanDuel EPL DFS days. On Saturday everything went wrong. Chalk play Romelu Lukaku bombed for less than 2 FanDuel points and Arnautovic missed a penalty killing our line. Only Bournemouth stacks cashed as the Cherries ran out 4-0 winners. Sunday was a very different story. The Man Utd/Crystal Palace stack was good for 216 FanDuel points and came in third place in the big GPP of the day for a huge cash pay out!

This week FanDuel have two slates – a Tue/Wed slate with the Chelsea v Southampton game and a Wed only slate. This column will include players for both days and a lineup for each slate. At the time of writing there is no slate including Thursday’s Manchester derby. If one comes along I’ll talk about it on Twitter @DavidGateSports.

Unusually, for this time of the year, all the games matter towards the Premier League title, Champions League places and relegation. This ensures that all the games will be competitive.

The team sheets are released an hour before kick off each day – 1:45pm-2pm ET and I’ll be tweeting out changes and surprises. You can follow me and @FantasyCPR for the updated lineups. Read on for all the best tips to cash this week!

FanDuel EPL Goalkeepers

My favorite keeper of the day is Kasper Schmeichel (6800). He faces an Arsenal side who are coming of the back of an OT win against Man City in the FA Cup on Sunday. Arsenal will have to go again on just two days rest and I love the possibility of lots of shots at Schmeichel and his ability to repel them. I think a large stat total and clean sheet bonus are both in play here.

Hugo Lloris (6600) is a great bet for the clean sheet bonus. He has kept three in a row in the Premier League. There is very little upside here though as Palace only forced Liverpool in to one save on Sunday. They don’t take many shots and only need one goal to kill Lloris’s value.

With Victor Valdes still injured Brad Guzan (6000) will start again. Even though the American conceded 4 goals against Bournemouth he also made 6 saves for 15 total FanDuel EPL points. He is facing Sunderland who only have 10 goals away from home on the year. I will be having Guzan in half my lineups with Schmeichel in the other half.

I would also have no hesitation about using Wayne Hennessey (6400) against Spurs.  All of his best performances have come to top 6 sides and Tottenham should create plenty of chances as they chase for the title.

FanDuel EPL Defenders

With lots of appealing expensive attacking options on this slate I am looking to save budget in defense. One of the cheapest starters on the slate will be Rob Holding (4500) who has started in Arsenal’s last two games. He was good for 5 clearances and 14 FanDuel EPL points against Middlesbrough and his matchup against Leicester will be even more favorable to his defensive stats.

Leicester captain came off on last week with a hamstring injury in his first game back. He is expected to miss this week’s game meaning Yohan Benaloune (5300) will keep his place. His stats have dipped off a little recently but his matchup against Arsenal is very favorable.

Crystal Palace have one of the prime matchups for defenders against Tottenham. Their defense is packed with value. Martin Kelly (5300) and Mamadou Sakho (5500) are both excellent value plays. The best pick here is Jeffrey Schlupp (5500) who has been playing in midfield while still listed as a defender.  I love it when a player is actually playing further forward as their listing as their upside for goals and assists sky rockets.

With that logic I’ll also be keeping an eye on Eric Dier (5800) who lists as a defender but who also may play in midfield this week. If he does then I will use him in a big Spurs stack with their attackers.

FanDuel EPL Midfielders

The title race is very much on for both Chelsea and Tottenham. There isn’t much to add except to say all their star midfielders are in play this week. Dele Alli (9500) and Christian Eriksen (10500) are always top options and both Son (9200) and Dembele (6600) are considerations for low owned pivots.

Chelsea rested Eden Hazard (9800) for the first hour against Spurs in the FA Cup with this game in mind. He is their key attacking player with Costa in a slump and Pedro stalling. He is my favorite midfielder over $8k this week. It is very possible that Cesc Fabregas (7700) will start and, if he does, he is a must play.

I am definitely going to squeeze in two of the high-end players in my lineups so I will be looking for value elsewhere.  While I am not big on the attacking or defensive upside of the Sunderland v Middlesbrough game I do like much of the super cheap midfield value. This is a local derby game with the loser almost certainly relegated. There should be heaps of defensive stats in a hyper competitive game: Lee Cattermole (4800) and Wahbi Kharzi (5000) for Sunderland. Stewart Downing (5500) and Adam Clayton (5900) for Boro.

FanDuel EPL Forwards

There are many forward options but only one I really like. Harry Kane (12100) had 60+ FanDuel points on his return from injury and scored again in the FA Cup at the weekend. This is a must win game for Spurs and I love his chances of being the highest FanDuel scorer this week.

More from FanSided

He can be chalky but with so many other expensive forwards and midfielders I think his ownership should stay under the 30% mark.

Elsewhere I am underwhelmed by the other starters. Manolo Gabbiadini (7700) has nice upside for his price but has a hard match up away to Chelsea. I will have him in my Tue/Wed line up but not in my Wed only.

For Wednesday I will be looking for Theo Walcott (8400) to start who I think matches up very well against Leicester. If he doesn’t start I will be looking to find the cheapest starting option and upgrade my Spurs midfield as that is where I think the points are this week. The one I’m really looking for is Christian Stuani (5600). He hasn’t started in the last five games but his price is rock bottom and he scored two goals against Sunderland earlier in the season.
