FanDuel EPL Daily Fantasy DFS Analysis – April 26/27
By David Gate
Welcome back again to our FanDuel EPL DFS column. There is another slate on FanDuel this week to cover the Manchester Derby and we have all the picks and tips from that game to help you cash on DFS this week!
As I suspected FanDuel couldn’t leave out the Manchester Derby from its slate and have put together a combined Wed/Thu slate to include this game. I for one am not complaining! The first thing you need to do is to read my Tue/Wed article for analysis of all today’s games. This column will only be covering the Man City v Man Utd game that plays tomorrow.
The Manchester derby is always a fun game especially as Mourinho and Guardiola continue their long rivalry from their Real and Barca days. I like a number of players in this game so I thought it was worth covering it in a short column to make sure everyone has an idea of how to approach this game on the new slate.
The team sheets come out an hour before kick off each day – 1:45pm-2pm ET and I’ll be tweeting out changes and surprises. You can follow me @DavidGateSports for updates and @FantasyCPR for the lineups.
FanDuel EPL – Man City v Man Utd
The hands down best goalkeeper on this slate is David de Gea (6400). I expect United to play more conservatively tonight and concentrate on frustrating their opponents. Mourinho likes to have a deeper backline while Guardiola has his team play as far up the pitch as they can. Most of the game will be played in the United half. This will make it crowded near the box and see City take more long shots than they usually do. Good luck trying to beat de Gea from long-range!

Danny Blind (5800) came into the side on Sunday at put up 25+ FanDuel EPL points and helped us cash huge. I like his price and upside again and will have him in my lineup on this slate.
My favorite play from this game is Ander Herrera (9000). He has 3 assists and a goal in the last 3 games and has seen his price rise. I love his attacking upside and potential on the counter attack in this game but I am including him for the defensive stats. He will play slightly deeper and be heavily involved in all aspects of the midfield game. He is a high floor, high ceiling play tomorrow.
The other midfielder I’ll be looking out for is Jesus Navas (7100) who is listed as a midfielder but is playing in defense. He is the player United will look to attack making him very busy on the stat sheet. Against Arsenal he racked up 33+ FanDuel points without a goal or an assist.
Marcus Rashford (8900) is my favorite striker on the slate with United playing counter attack. I can see the young Englishman getting lots of opportunities to get behind the high City back line.
