2. Bring in some vets with championship pedigrees

The impact that Kevin Garnett had on Karl-Anthony Towns cannot be emphasized enough. I mean who would have thought that we would be mentioning KAT as a player who would have the keys to the league one of these days in just his second season in the league?

Once the Timberwolves lost Garnett, who was going to step up and be a vocal veteran leader and mentor for that team, Omri Casspi? When you have a potential superstar or two in the making, you make sure he is learning positioning and footwork from Magic Johnson or Kobe Bryant, not the best positions to get some sleep on a plane from Jason Caffey or Raja Bell.

Tony Allen, Vince Carter, Jason Terry, Deron Williams, Andrew Bogut, Kyle Korver and Matt Barnes are all free-agents this offseason and the Timberwolves should be hitting these guys hard to try to get them to come mentor this young Timberwolves team.
