Complete results from the official Canelo Alvarez vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. weigh-ins at the T-Mobile Area

On Saturday, May 6, all eyes will turn to Las Vegas as HBO Boxing presents the first marquee event of the summer as fans are treated to the boxing match between Canelo Alvarez vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at the T-Mobile Arena.

But before fight night, every fighter stepped on the scale to make weight ahead of their respective bouts. Both Alvarez and Chavez Jr. agreed to catchweight of 164.5 pounds. The marked Alvarez’s first trip above 155-pounds. Chavez, on the other hand, has struggled with his weight in recent fights.

Alvarez (48-1-1, 34 KOs), the WBC light middleweight and Ring magazine middleweight champion, will be looking to improve on his ninth round knockout over Liam Smith in September. Hitting the scale, Alvarez weigh-in at 164, meeting the requirement.

His opponent, the towering Chavez Jr. (50-2-1, 32 KOs), son of retired boxing champion Julio César Chávez, will be looking to push his win streak to three straight. He also the scale at at 164-pounds, putting to rest any questions surrounding his ability to make the weight.

Also appearing on the card will be the David Lemieux (37-3, 33 KOs) vs. Marco Reyes (35-4, 26 KOs) and Lucas Matthysse (37-4, 34 KOs) vs. Emmanuel Taylor (20-4, 14 KOs). Every fighter made the contracted weight, with Reyes needing to strip down to lose the additional half pound.
