A Spurs fan was so furious at Zaza Pachulia’s “dirty play,” that he’s taking him and the Golden State Warriors to court.

A sour San Antonio Spurs fan is so upset with what he saw as a “dirty play” from Zaza Pachulia, that he is taking him and the Golden State Warriors to the courthouse.

According to Nick Moyle of the San Francisco Chronicle, a man named Juan Vazquez has done the bizarrely unthinkable and has filed a lawsuit against Pachulia and the Warriors, stating in a legal brief that Pachulia “without excuse or justification, intentionally and maliciously invaded the landing zone of an opposing athlete, Kawhi Leonard.”

Okay, we all saw the play that took down Leonard, and, in all honesty, it’s pretty tough to tell if Pachulia did intentionally hurt the Spurs’ star player or not. But to file actual court papers because of it really does boggle the mind.

If you haven’t figured it out yet, Vazquez is from San Antonio and, per his legal brief, may be a Spurs’ season ticket holder, as he made his pitch of the lawsuit “on behalf of San Antonio season-ticket holders” and What’s on Second, a trading card shop in the Alamo City.

So what exactly is Vasquez trying to obtain here? Does everyone to jump into Doc Brown’s time machine and replay Game 1? We mean, what does Vazquez really intends to accomplish with this (laughable) lawsuit?

We may have an answer.

According to The Chronicle, Vazquez is asking the judge for the defendants to cover “exemplary damages” not exceeding $73,000.

If Vasquez — and Spurs fans crazy enough to believe in this lawsuit — really believe a judge is going to hear this case, I have a mission in the heart of San Antonio that I’d like to sell them for the low price of $73,000.
