Cleveland Cavaliers drop Game 3 to Boston Celtics: Twitter reacts
By John Buhler
The Cleveland Cavaliers blew a 16-point lead at halftime to shockingly drop Game 3 at home to the Boston Celtics. Here is how Twitter handled the loss.
Though the Cleveland Cavaliers can still reach the NBA Finals, they will not do so undefeated in the Eastern Conference Playoffs. Cleveland dropped a strange one at home to the Boston Celtics on Sunday night in Game 3, 111-108. Avery Bradley’s game-winner was all sorts of ridiculous. Interestingly, the road team has won all three games in the best-of-seven series.
Cleveland had a 16-point lead heading into halftime. Power forward Kevin Love was on fire from distance and it looked to be an easy Game 3 win at home for the Cavaliers. However, Boston was able to chip away at the Cavaliers’ lead. Shooting guard Marcus Smart led the way with a strong shooting night for the Celtics.
This game would come down to the final possession, but Cleveland was unable stop the bleeding before it was too late. Obviously, this loss comes as a huge surprise for the Cavaliers faithful and the NBA world outside of New England.
Did Twitter have a few things to say about this bad loss at home for the Cavaliers? You better believe it, as Twitter erupted into a frenzy unlike anything we’ve seen the La La Land fiasco or Super Bowl LI. Let’s just see how Twitter is doing with the best-of-seven series now only 2-1 in Cleveland’s favor.

Yes, this win for the Celtics over the Cavaliers was borderline unbelievable. Then again, things were getting a little too chummy for the Cavaliers. We all know that LeBron James needs all the drama to lead his team to victory.
