Ex-Colts punter trolls Browns for hiring Ryan Grigson

Former Indianapolis Colts General Manager Ryan Grigson was hired by the Cleveland Browns, but another former Colt got the last laugh.

We have all been through a bad breakup. Well, maybe. And after that breakup, we sit back and wonder what the other person is thinking about us and why things ended. Odds are they will be kinds to us in public but snarky behind our backs. Such is not the case between former Indianapolis Colts General Manager Ryan Grigson and now retired punter Pat McAfee.

There is no mistaking how McAfee feels about his former boss. It is the way most of Colts Nation feels. I know this because I have been a fan of the team since before Peyton Manning was there. And McAfee is my spirit animal.

Today was just another perfectly timed portion of the script. Grigson signed with the Cleveland Browns as a Senior Personnel Executive. You read that correctly. The man who traded for running back bust Trent Richardson from the Cleveland Browns is now a Cleveland Brown. Pat McAfee’s Twitter reaction says it all.

Okay. Catch your breath. Now, that is high quality trolling.

To understand the true level of troll-dom, you must know the history between the main characters. After Grigson was fired from the Colts in January, McAfee launched into a Twitter-base tirade, indicating how poorly players were treated. Appearing on WJMV 1070 AM the Fan in Indianapolis on Feb. 2, McAfee expressed support of other teammates on his stance of on Grigson.
