An expansion of the partnership between the NBA and headwear manufacturer New Era should allow basketball fans to elevate their swag game.

Starting with this year’s NBA Draft hats, the New Era NBA partnership expansion will bring the brand’s sweet designs to other marquee NBA events. To help market the new products, New Era has also inked three NBA players to its team of brand ambassadors.

According to a press release, Draymond Green, D’Angelo Russell and John Wall have joined Paul George as New Era NBA brand ambassadors. George was the only NBA player designated as a brand ambassador by New Era for the past three years.

The expansion in New Era’s ambassador lineup comes in concert with an expansion in New Era’s overall partnership with the NBA. In addition to now being the exclusive headwear provider of the NBA Draft, New Era now has the same title for the NBA Finals, the conference finals, the NBA G-League and the WNBA. With the expansion, designs like this could eventually be coming for the WNBA Draft along with all 26 G-League teams.

This year’s draft caps and the pending Finals hats will give fans a glimpse of the direction that New Era wants to take with the headwear. Fans outside of Canada and the United States will be able to purchase the same products, as the partnership is a global one.

“We’re very excited to grow our relationship with New Era, and explore new ways to share premium product with our fans,” said NBA Vice President, Global Partnerships Lisa Piken Koper. “The NBA Draft and Finals will reflect our refreshed approach to the category.”

With the expansion, fans can now not only see how the NBA ambassador team styles New Era products, but also acquire the same stylish headwear to make their own. While both the NBA and New Era will benefit, the real winners are the fans.
