Lonzo Ball, Markelle Fultz and the 2017 NBA Draft class will be looking fresh with these New Era draft caps

The NBA Draft is the time of year when everyone freaks out just a little bit. Players are pining to find out where they’ll start their pro careers. Meanwhile, fans are sitting around waiting to see who they can hitch their hopes to as the future of their favorite franchise. It’s a wonderful, anxious and stressful time. For NBA fashionistas, the NBA Draft is also a time to add to the ol’ headwear collection.

As is the case with every sport, new NBA Draft caps are released every year. And as New Era is the official hat sponsor of the league, they obviously provide the look that the prospects of tomorrow will be wearing whenever Adam Silver calls their name.

So, it only stood to reason that New Era would get involved on the night of the 2017 NBA Draft Lottery. With the order of the top 14 picks waiting to be determined by ping pong balls on Tuesday night, the headwear giant made their own splash. They did so, of course, by offering up the official 2017 NBA Draft caps.

Here’s a look at the stylish new lids that Lonzo Ball, De’Aaron Fox and company will wear in the 2017 NBA Draft:

Having the massive graphic on the underside of the bill is all the craze these days. In fact, we saw a similar design on the NFL Draft caps. If you’re not into that, though, you’re out of luck.

Obviously there are 2017 NBA Draft caps for all 30 teams in the league, but you get the picture from this sample. Ball, Fox, Markelle Fultz and the stars (or hopeful stars) of tomorrow should look great in these. Of course, fans of teams in the lottery will think they’d look good wearing a burlap sack featuring their team’s logos. These are quite a bit more stylish than that, luckily.

The caps will be available to the public for purchase on June 8, a full two weeks before the actual draft.
