Colin Kaepernick just may find a home for the 2017 NFL season, as the former starter worked out for the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday.

The big story circling the NFL in recent months has been whether or not Colin Kaepernick would find employment for the upcoming season. A talented quarterback, Kaepernick has seen lesser players get picked up recently, adding to the conspiracy that he was being blackballed by the league. On Wednesday, Kaepernick worked out for the Seattle Seahawks, which would be a solid fit for him, playing behind Russell Wilson.

Ezekiel Elliott took the NFL by storm during his rookie season in 2016, leading the NFL in rushing yards in his first campaign. This offseason, Elliott has had some issues off the field, and on Wednesday, was in his second car accident since the season ended. Elliott suffered a head injury that will keep him out of OTAs, but the team expects him to be ready for training camp.

Andrew Hawkins is a 31-year old wide receiver who most recently played for the Cleveland Browns. On Wednesday, Hawkins signed with a new team, as he will attempt to call New England home for the upcoming season. Hawkins joins a crowded group at wideout for the Patriots, as the team added Brandin Cooks this offseason as well. If he makes the team, expect him to play in the slot.

Staying with the Cleveland Browns, it appears one of their current quarterbacks is not ready to say he is a backup just yet. Brock Osweiler, who was the prized free agent signing of the Houston Texans last offseason, was traded to the Browns this offseason after one horrible season under center for the team. On Wednesday, Osweiler was asked if he was good enough to start in the NFL, to which he replied, “absolutely, absolutely.” Interesting take from a man who struggled mightily in his only season as a full-time starter.

For many players, the only reason to even attend the Pro Bowl was the free trip to Hawaii. However, the NFL moved the event to Orlando, Florida last year, adding some skills challenge events to sweeten the festivities. In 2018, the game will once again be held in Orlando, which actually was a very nice venue for the players this past January.
