Takuma Sato is the winner of the 2017 Indy 500; where did your favorite IndyCar driver finish? Here’s the complete finishing order for the Indianapolis 500.

Takuma Sato topped the standings at the 2017 Indy 500, but where did your favorite IndyCar driver finish? Here is the complete finishing order for the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500.

The Andretti Autosport team ran well for yet another year at Indianapolis. Five of the Andretti cars had the Indy 500 lead at some point during the race; only rookie Jack Harvey did not run up front, as he was out of the race on Lap 66. He and Ryan Hunter-Reay did not finish the race once RHR’s engine died with just 63 laps left. Takuma Sato swept in and scored the win with just a handful of laps left.

Meanwhile, pole sitter and current Verizon IndyCar Series points leader Scott Dixon saw his day end badly when he was the victim of a terrible crash. That knocked Dixon out of the race just past the quarter-point and down to the bottom of the standings. Conor Daly and Buddy Lazier were also involved in single-car accidents, while Will Power, James Hinchcliffe and Oriol Servia were among those caught up in a multi-car wreck with 16 laps to go.

Takuma Sato is the 71st winner in 101 runnings of the Indianapolis 500 and the second Andretti Autosport driver to win in the last two years.
