Atlanta Falcons rookie defensive end Takkarist McKinley shows us exactly how one should dance after they get over a million dollars in one’s bank account.

It’s starting to become a thing now, an awesome thing. Seemingly every year, at least one NFL rookie quickly becomes a social media darling. If it’s a quarterback, then you’re team is in trouble. Should that guy be a defensive end like the Atlanta Falcons’ Takkarist McKinley, it’s totally fine.

McKinley was the Falcons’ No. 26 overall pick out of UCLA in the 2017 NFL Draft. Atlanta’s plan for McKinley is to be the other pass rushing force to pair alongside outside linebacker Vic Beasley Jr. for the foreseeable future. While Beasley has already earned All-Pro status in his sophomore in the NFL, McKinley just got paid. The dude is very much excited about how his bank account looks on June 1.

McKinley took to social media on Thursday to be all sorts of excited about getting that first big paycheck as an NFL player. He was dancing like an elementary school kid on pizza day. McKinley plans to help out his close-knit family with this money. For now, the dude’s dancing up a storm.

For nearly all young athletes, this is life-changing money we’re talking about. While McKinley might get ripped for the “humble” comment in this video, try to put yourself his shoes. To go from over-drafting one’s bank account one day because all college kids live on ramen to have not one, but two commas in a bank account, yes, that’s awesome.

While McKinley is now a millionaire, that comes with great expectations now that he’s with the Falcons. Atlanta traded up to get him at No. 26 to be that last missing piece to their on-the-rise defense. If the trolls on Twitter don’t humble him, certainly training camp in humid Flowery Branch will in a few months.
