Klay Thompson may be one of the best 3-point shooters of all time, but it when it comes to dunking, well, um, see for yourself.

After winning another NBA Finals, Klay Thompson travelled to China to promote a Chinese sneaker brand called Anta.

Just a day into the trip, Thompson embarrassed himself by failing to complete a 360 degree dunk.

Thompson approached the challenge with a smile. He looked like he was planning to show his doubters wrong with his dunking abilities. However, when he raced to the net and tried to complete the difficult dunk, he slammed the ball into the rim instead of the basket.

He fell to the ground and looked like he was in pain for a moment before standing back up to face his disappointment.

Thompson must have been ashamed and known that it would go viral with all the cameras watching him. The Chinese fans expected a show, but the one they received was different than they hoped.

To try this dunk was silly for Thompson, who was just coming off a long flight from the United States. Although, who knows if he could ever make this dunk at full strength.

The 27-year-old was quickly roasted on Twitter for his failure. Many users told the sharpshooter to stick to attempts from behind the 3-point line. During the 2015-16 season, Thompson made 276 3-pointers. That feat is fourth all-time behind three of his teammate Stephen Curry’s seasons.

Other Twitter users said this is what happens when you have three superstars on your team. Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and Draymond Green do make hitting shots a lot easier when they get all the attention.

While Klay Thompson did fail in his dunk attempt, he still won the NBA Finals this season in five games. They lost just one game en route to the title. He’s won two championships in just three seasons and is an integral member of what might be the best team in NBA history.
