4. Tim Hardaway Jr, SG, Atlanta Hawks

Hardaway had a nice year last season in Atlanta, coming off the bench. He could provide a spark with shooting and use his length to disrupt on defense. Hardaway was effective in a limited role — he only played 27.3 minutes a game but was able to turn in pretty good numbers, averaging 14.5 points, 2.3 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game. He shot 35.7 percent from behind the arc and improved in several other statical categories.

Hardaway could potentially flourish under Coach Thibodeau and live up to the potential given early in his career. Thibs developed Jimmy Butler into a superstar. Hardaway Jr. is not necessarily that kind of player but he does have the tools and skill set to grow into something more than a bench shooter.

Hardaway Jr. has had a unique career early on he hasn’t really played badly for any of the teams he’s played for be he hasn’t exactly shown he was irreplaceable either. Minnesota would be a great fit for him to provide bench scoring and defense. With a significant boost in minutes for the 2017-18 NBA season, Hardaway could turn into a very good player. Hardaway can put up huge points in bunches, it’s just about being consistent now.
