Jimmy Butler apparently isn’t afraid of any critics, as he openly gave out his phone number in his introductory press conference for the Timberwolves.

Jimmy Butler had his first press conference as a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves roster, and he showed some amazing confidence in himself and his abilities in a unique way at the event.

Butler was asked about criticism at the presser, and expressed how that all comes with the territory when you’re an NBA player, especially at his level. However, not many would go to the lengths Butler went to prove he’s not afraid of the critics.

In a blatant Iron Man/Tony Stark move, Butler gave out his phone number at the press conference, and said that anyone can call the number if they have something they want to say to him or questions to ask about anything.

“It’s not frustrating, it’s expected,” Butler said. “Someone has to take the blame. I’ll be that guy, I’m okay with it. I’m fine. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion. That being said, my phone’s in my back pocket right now. If whoever has anything to say to me, feel free. My number is 773-899-6071. If you want an interview, there you have it.”

Fans quickly took advantage of the moment and were instantly calling the number, but it was obviously busy with all those looking to talk to an NBA star. However, with some deep investigative reporting through Snapchat, one fan figured out that the number belongs to a woman named Angelina and not Butler.

While the number could lead to an agent or an assistant, it could also just be a random person out there getting bombarded with calls thanks to a new member of the Timberwolves lineup.

Hopefully Butler apologizes for giving out a random number if that is the case, but it did provide for some good humor in his early moments as a member of the Timberwolves, so maybe it was worth it.
