The Oklahoma City Thunder made a big splash acquiring Paul George this offseason, and their fans let him know how they feel on Tuesday.
Paul George was one of the more sought-after players this offseason in the NBA, as he was linked to a ton of teams before and after the NBA Draft. He was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis, which to many looked like a steal for the Thunder. He will be teamed in Oklahoma City with the reigning NBA Most Valuable Player Russell Westbrook, giving the Thunder two dominant players in their starting lineup.
The Golden State Warriors are the class of the NBA, and have won the Western Conference in each of the last three years. In 2015, the Warriors beat the Thunder in a seven-game series, though Oklahoma City had current Golden State Warrior Kevin Durant at the time. Durant has since made the switch to Golden State, winning a title last season, and is officially Public Enemy No. 1 in Oklahoma City.
George, who only has one year left on his current contract, told the Indiana Pacers that he planned to leave the team after this season. He expressed his interest to play for the Los Angeles Lakers, but that all may change now that he is in OKC with Westbrook. He is very excited to be playing with the Thunder, and fans showed him on Tuesday that they are also excited to have him.
The 27-year-old George is one of the better defenders in the NBA, and is a four-time All-Star. A product of Fresno State, George will be playing with only his second team during his time in the NBA, and will be looking to put together a monster season going into his pending free agency.

With George, the Thunder have their best option alongside Russell Westbrook since Kevin Durant. While they may not be able to hang with the Golden State Warriors over a seven-game series, they definitely have enough talent to make a run towards an appearance in the Western Conference Finals. George is a great addition to any team, and with the Thunder, he should continue to put up impressive numbers.
