Fan gets insane Connor McDavid tattoo on right thigh (Video)

Some fans get crazy haircuts to support their team, others get logos tattooed on their body. This fan went nuts, and got a Connor McDavid tattoo on his leg.

Sports fans are some of the most devoted out there, but not many can beat the dedication that hockey fans have for their teams. In this case, no one can beat this one fan’s love for his team’s best player: Connor McDavid.

We’ve seen fans do crazy things to showcase their support before a big game, whether it’s face-painting, hair-dying or some crazy outfits. With the insane technology out there, some even get logos or faces cut into their hairstyles, or into their body hair to make things especially weird.

In this case, we have ourselves another crazy sports tattoo. Some put logos on their body, which seems crazy enough, but this fan took it a big step further with his McDavid tattoo. To show some love to the reigning NHL MVP and current NHL 18 cover athlete, this fan got an insanely detailed tattoo of McDavid on his right thigh.

Obviously, for such impressive work, it caught the attention of the man himself, and McDavid posted the picture of the tattoo on his Instagram account, with the caption “How about those Oilers fans…”

The artist who did the tattoo posted a video of the work of art, and said the whole tattoo took a measly 17 hours to complete.

McDavid is already a top name in the NHL at just 20 years old, and led the league in points in just his second season in the league. At this rate, we’re watching a future legend at his best, and it seems to be more than deserving of a gigantic tattoo at this point.
