Manchester United have completed the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a one-year deal.
Manchester United have scored eight goals in their first two Premier League games this season. They have Romely Lukaku, Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. So, naturally, the Red Devils went out and re-signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic to a one-year deal.

The 35-year-old Swedish international scored 28 goals in 46 appearances in all competitions last season with United. Zlatan is set to take over the number 10 shirt recently vacated by Wayne Rooney, who returned to his boyhood club, Everton, this summer.
Ibrahimovic sustained a knee injury towards the end of last season. Many thought he would move on to a different club, possibly even MLS, as United brought in players this summer. But the big striker made a nice recovery and has apparently proved to Man United that he is still capable of competing at the highest levels.
This is bad news for the rest of the Premier League. The Red Devils looked nigh unbeatable in their opening two matches of the season. Lukaku already has three goals and looked like he would do a pretty decent job of replacing Zlatan’s goal-scoring numbers. Now the Belgian striker won’t have to do that, because Zlatan is on his team.
The biggest question will be how much and where Ibrahimovic plays. Jose Mourinho surely won’t play him alongside Lukaku, and it’s unlikely that he will cut down on Lukaku’s minutes. But United are returning to the Champions League this season after winning the Europa League in the spring. Having Zlatan around can only be seen as a positive for United fans.
