Bettor puts $1 million in cash on Floyd Mayweather against Conor McGregor

One person has placed a $1 million bet on Floyd Mayweather to beat Conor McGregor in cash just hours before the start of the fight.

The super fight between undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather and UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor has drawn attention from people all over the world. That includes hardcore boxing and MMA fans, as well as casual fans.

It has also included a lot of gamblers, big and small. The Maloof brothers made headlines for betting over $800 thousand on Mayweather to win. They also plan on donating the winnings to charity, which is a nice cause, if they win.

On the day of the fight in Las Vegas, on person bet $1 million on Mayweather to win. While this is a ton of money, it’s not necessarily incredibly out of the ordinary. The bettor, who is not pictured with his money below, made the bet in cash and chips.

That’s a lot of cash to be carrying around Las Vegas, and he won’t win more than a million dollars on the bet, but he should still win tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars on the bet.

Sports books are getting more million dollar bets on this fight than in the Super Bowl.

Who ever put that million on the Atlanta Falcons has to be pretty upset with how that game turned out. Most people can only imagine the emotional rollercoaster that fan went on as the Falcons gave up a 28-3 lead to the New England Patriots.
