In a strange method of preparation, Floyd Mayweather has hired a masseuse to massage one specific part of his body before his fight against Conor McGregor.

Hours before the one of the biggest fights of his career, Floyd “Money” Mayweather is preparing in every way possible before taking on Conor McGregor.

Before a fight like this, most seasoned veterans of the sport prepare by warming up their arms and legs to go several rounds against their opponent. Usually, flashes of quick strikes are shown on a screen to show viewers that the boxer is ready for battle.

Mayweather has apparently taken a different approach.

During the pay-per-view broadcast of the main card, cameras were capturing the moments backstage in the locker room of Mayweather and his team. In one instance, Mayweather was seen with his head in the lap of what looked to be a masseuse massaging various areas of his head.

That’s right. Mayweather hired a masseuse to massage his head only.

While I am not quite familiar with this method of preparation, Mayweather clearly wants every inch of his body to be ready to go to war with McGregor.

In the last few days, Mayweather has stated the fight will not go the distance as he is looking to soundly knockout McGregor, who is relative newcomer in the sport of boxing. Of course, McGregor has reiterated the same sentiment only with Mayweather being on the receiving end of a devastating knockout.

However, this may be hard to pull off considering Mayweather’s years of experience and incredible defensive game plan that he’s utilized throughout the majority of his career. A vital aspect in his game plan is his head movement, so perhaps he’s just getting his head ready to avoid a ton of punches being thrown his way courtesy of McGregor.
