Le’Veon Bell is not happy about being left out of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ recent shopping spree.

Le’Veon Bell feels a little left out. The Steelers have started bringing in players despite not signing the arguably best running back in football to a long-term deal this offseason. He wasn’t happy then, and it seems he isn’t happy now.

Right about the time it was clear the Steelers would be signing Joe Haden, Bell dropped another of his freestyle tracks in which he asks for money. This time he asked for $17 million.

It all started this morning when Steelers extended GM Kevin Colbert through 2020. Bell logged into Twitter and started with an innocuous tweet. Without knowing the context, you can almost pretend to ignore the shade.

It was just a few minutes after that when Bell dropped the tweet that solidified the shade thrown with the first one.

Ramon Foster had dropped a meme on Instagram this morning, depicting many of the team members getting paid with the Crying Jordan meme over Bell’s face. It also displayed Colbert’s head photoshopped onto Conor McGregor’s body in quite the outfit.

This all comes shortly after a report that Bell turned down a long-term deal minutes before the deadline. Bell and his agent have since denied doing any such thing. Many have theorized that the report was designed to paint the Steelers in a better light.

This is all another chapter in Bell’s contract saga. Rap songs, holdouts, and franchise tags fill the saga, making it the strangest contract dispute so far. This does not even include the fact that the saga focuses on the best running back in the NFL and one of the most storied franchises in NFL history.

At the very least, this lengthy saga has been one of the more interesting contract disputes in NFL history. No one will ever deny that Le’Veon Bell is an entertainer.
