Week 1 of the college football season features a showdown between Alabama and Florida State. Who will be the celebrity picker on ESPN’s College GameDay?

When it comes to college football, there is no better show than College GameDay. Whether it’s the signs, the Washington State Flag that travels everywhere or Lee Corso putting on a mascot head, it is the ultimate way to get started on Saturday’s before the big game.

Week 1 will take place from Atlanta, where Alabama will take on the Florida State Seminoles. This is one of the biggest opening games in the history of college football and there just was no better location for the show to take place.

With two National Championship contenders competing to kick off the season all eyes will be on this game. That of course means that a name celebrity picker will be needed to kick off College GameDay the right way.

With the game taking place in Atlanta, there could be a variety of people to make the pick. Julio Jones would be a fantastic choice, as a former member of the Crimson Tide. His teammate Matt Ryan didn’t play for either school, but he would be another great choice.

Of course the Atlanta hip hop scene has many excellent choices to make the pick as well. Speculation aside, it is likely going to be a big name to kick off the year. Considering two heavyweights are about to throw down on the field, it is only right to get a big name to make the pick.
