Azeem Victor

LB, Washington

After a bad leg injury ended Azeem Victor’s season last year, the inside linebacker for the Washington Huskies has been able to recover and will be a key component of his team’s defense this year.

In 10 games for the Huskies, Victor managed to rack up 67 total tackles and three that were for a loss. In 2017, he’ll look to improve on those numbers and he should make an impact right away once he gets on the field.

Although they lost plenty of starters from their defense to the NFL Draft, Victor is one of those returning players that will have scouts raving about his ability. At the inside linebacker position, Victor is one of the most talented in the nation.

He’s going to be tasked with being the leader of a defense with high expectations. He’s a tackling machine and will wrap up anything that gets close to him. His ability to close the gap is something that makes him one of the top draft prospects. Throw in his leadership ability and Victor has a chance to keep rising if he can stay healthy.
