With the game’s demo now live on PS4 and X-Box consoles, EA Sports has completed its revelation of the top 100 highest-rated players.

Gamers can now begin to play FIFA 18 thanks to the release of the demo from EA Sports, and having all the intel possible about the game prior to its full release on Friday, Sept. 29 will be beneficial. In that interest, the top 100 highest-rated players list is now complete.

For fans and gamers unfamiliar with the game’s player ratings, the overall rating is what these rankings are compiled by. The overall ratings are a combination of individual skill ratings which include Defending, Dribbling, Pace, Passing, Physical and Shooting for forwards, midfields and defenders, while keepers are rated for Diving, Handling, Kicking, Position, Reflexes and Speed.

Players No. 61 – No. 80

Players No. 21 – No. 60

Players No. 11 – No. 20

10. Gonzalo Higuaín, Juventus – 90
9. Toni Kroos, Real Madrid – 90
8. Eden Hazard, Chelsea – 90
7. Sergio Ramos, Real Madrid – 90
6. Robert Lewandowski, Bayern München – 91
5. Manuel Neuer, Bayern München – 92
4. Luis Suárez, FC Barcelona – 92
3. Neymar, Paris Saint-Germain – 92
2. Messi, FC Barcelona – 93
1. Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid – 94

As the list of the top 100 players is now complete, gamers would be wise to consider which clubs in the game have the best representation on this list. Ronaldo’s club, Real Madrid, edges out Juventus for that honor with 12 footballers on this list. Juventus is second with 10 and is the only other club with a double-digit representation in the rankings. Bayern München is third with nine players, FC Barcelona comes next with eight, and Chelsea rounds out the top five with seven.

In terms of individual skill ratings, it’s now possible to do a final recap of which players are rated highest in those marks. Of the top 100, 13 of those players are keepers. Earning his status as the game’s top overall-rated keeper, Neuer has the game’s highest mark in Diving (91), Kick (95) and Position (91). David De Gea and Hugo Lloris set the high mark in Reflexes at 90, while Thibaut Courtois is top-rated in Handles at 91. Lloris is also the fastest keeper with a 65 Speed rating.

Of the remaining 87 players, the skill ratings are widely dispersed. Ronaldo’s mate Gareth Bale is the most aggressive player on the pitch with a 94 Pace rating. Nobody handles the ball like Messi, sporting a 95 Dribbling rating. Ronaldo is the game’s best pure offensive threat with a 93 Shooting mark, while Giorgio Chiellini is the game’s best stopper with a 90 Defending score. Four players are equally rated at distributing the ball with an 88 Passing: Kevin De Bruyne, Christian Eriksen, Cesc Fàbregas and Kroos. Diego Costa and Paul Pogba are the most intimidating players in the game with 88 Physical ratings.

All of this information is just that until gamers actually fire up the console, download the demo and choose a side to get onto the pitch with. Over the next two and a half weeks until the game releases, that will provide many opportunities to fuel the debate over whether these ratings are deserved.
