We officially kickoff NFL Color Rush this Thursday with a matchup between the Bengals and  Texans. What will the uniforms look like for each team?

Thursday Night Football kicks off Week 2 of the season as the Houston Texans (0-1) travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals (0-1). The Sept. 14 game from Paul Brown Stadium will be at 8:25 p.m. ET and can be seen on NFL Network. This will be a matchup between two teams who were less than impressive in their season openers.

Because of special circumstances last week,  the Patriots and Chiefs wore their standard home and away uniforms. That isn’t the case this week. We will finally see the Nike Color Rush uniforms debuted this week. What will they look like for both teams?

The Texans’ uniforms are a play off of their standard home ones. Instead of the navy top with white pants, the Texans will be in all navy with a red trim around the outside. In terms of looks, this is definitely one of the better Color Rush uniforms you will see this season.

On the other hand, the Bengals will be in all white, with black letters and black trim on the outside. They’ll keep their regular orange and black helmets to go along with it.

I think we can just all be happy that the they won’t be in all orange. We’ve seen some pretty bright and putrid uniforms from teams in the past, so this is a nice change. You generally won’t see teams wear white at home, but the Bengals definitely pull off the look.

There is really nothing to complain about, the Color Rush uniforms are looking good for both teams.

Thursday night’s game is a must-win for both parties. The Texans were embarrassed by the Jaguars on both sides of the ball in Week 1. In a winnable AFC South, they’ve got to take advantage of their games out of the division. Rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson looks to get the start and will have a chance to show he’s the quarterback for the future.

For the Bengals, they are coming off a game were they were shutout by the Ravens. Andy Dalton played one of the worst games of his career and the explosive offense was no where to be found. With the Steelers and Ravens both looking good, the Bengals can’t afford to fall behind early this season.
