Manchester United got back to winning by multiples goals last week as they sailed past Everton 4-0 on Wayne Rooney’s return to Old Trafford. For most of the match it was a closer affair than that scoreline might suggest. After Antonio Valencia’s super strike in the fourth minute, United would have to wait until the 83rd for their second.
The win over the Toffees was a return to form after the Red Devils stumbled the previous week, drawing with Stoke. Jose Mourinho and company will feel confident of more goals and more points on Saturday. Romelu Lukaku will look to keep his goalscoring record intact as he has scored five goals in five appearances this season. They will, however, be without Paul Pogba for the second straight league match. It is unclear how long he will be sidelined after picking up an injury in the Champions League.

Southampton currently sit ninth in the Premier League table. They are coming off a 1-0 win away at winless and goalless Crystal Palace last week. The Saints will not be excited about United visiting town on Saturday.
