The top of the Premier League table is beginning to take a familiar shape. Last season’s top six are in first, second, third, fourth, fifth and seventh, with only sixth-place Watford breaking up the party after their win against Swansea last weekend.
Manchester City lead Manchester United at the top of the table on goal difference after winning their last three league matches by a combined score of 16-0, but they face their toughest test of the season so far on Saturday, when they travel to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea.
Antonio Conte’s side have one of the best defenses in the league, and will look to frustrate City’s high-power attack, but there’s also a good chance we see Eden Hazard start his first league game of the season in support of Alvaro Morata in Chelsea’s front three.
The other standout matches of the weekend see Tottenham travel to Huddersfield, who are still flying high in their first season in the top flight; Crystal Palace continue their quest for a first league goal of the season at Manchester United; and Rafa Benitez face his old club when Liverpool play Newcastle on Sunday.
