In a Sunday Night Football matchup, the New York Giants will head West to take on the Denver Broncos looking for their first win of the season.

Heading into the 2017 NFL season, the New York Giants were a team many expected to challenge for supremacy in the NFC. However, through the first five games of the season, they are still looking for their first win, and they are certainly going to have a hard time finding it this week. The Giants will travel to Denver to take on the Broncos, who boast one of the best defenses in all of football.

Why that is a huge problem for the Giants is simple, as they lost their best weapons on offense this past weekend. Both Odell Beckham Jr. and Brandon Marshall are done for the season, suffering ankle injuries against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 5. If Eli Manning is going to move the ball against the Broncos, it will have to come via a miracle, because this offense is more than just depleted.

Denver once again has one of the best defenses in the NFL, and their quarterback is also playing some good football. Trevor Siemian has had to earn the starting job in Denver in each of the last two Summers, and he is proving why he continues to beat out Paxton Lynch. He is a very smart quarterback, and against a Giants defense that is struggling with their identity right now, he should find it easy to move the ball consistently on Sunday night.

Odds

Line: Denver Broncos (-12.0)

Over/Under: 39.5

The Broncos are big-time favorites in this game, and with how bad the Giants have been this season, Denver just may cover this double-digit line. The over/under is set under 40, and that is likely because the oddsmakers do not feel the Giants will do much offensively in this one. This line will change a lot throughout the week, so head on over to Sportsbook Review for any changes up until kickoff.

Prediction

The Broncos defense is just too good to lose to the Giants, and this one is not going to be close. New York lost so many weapons on the offensive side of the ball this past weekend, and head coach Ben McAdoo might be losing his locker room. We saw it happen to the Jets last season, and for the Giants, they could not be heading to Denver at worse time than in Week 6.

Final Score: Broncos 24 Giants 10
