The Green Bay Packers will head to Minnesota in Week 6 to take on the Vikings in a crucial NFC North matchup inside U.S. Bank Stadium.

Coming off a big win on Monday Night Football, the Minnesota Vikings will have a short week to get ready for arguably the best team in the NFC. The Green Bay Packers will head to Minnesota fresh off a win against the Dallas Cowboys on the road and will be facing a Vikings offense still looking for their identity. Minnesota has had to deal with a plethora of injuries this season, and the Packers may be getting them at the right time.

Against the Bears on Monday, the Vikings started Sam Bradford at quarterback,  but he did not even last the first half. They had to insert Case Keenum back into the starting lineup, and he did a nice job moving the ball against the Chicago defense. Jerick McKinnon started the game behind Latavius Murray on the depth chart, but he exploded against Chicago, and will likely get the start this weekend against Green Bay.

For the second time in nine months, the Packers broke the hearts of Cowboys fans everywhere, as Aaron Rodgers was solid in the clutch. With the win, Green Bay moved to 4-1 on the season and is currently in sole possession of first place in the NFC North. The Vikings could move to a tie with the Packers with a win on Sunday, but they are going to need all hands on deck if they hope to pull this one out.

Odds

Line: Green Bay Packers (-3.0)

Over/Under: 46.5

The Vikings are actually underdogs at home this week, and that is only due to the fact that the Packers are red-hot coming into this one. The line is a bit high I believe, as the Vikings are starting Case Keenum, who is more of a game manager. This line and over/under has changed a bit over the past week or so, so head on over to Sportsbook Review for any changes up until kickoff.

Prediction

The Vikings are always tough at home, but the Packers present a lot more problems than the teams they have seen this season. Green Bay is coming off a huge NFC win against the Dallas Cowboys, and Rodgers has shown he is the best quarterback in the league this season. This one is going to be a one-score game, but the Packers should do enough against the Vikings elite defense to pull out the victory.

Final Score: Packers 24 Vikings 17
