Nike revealed that they will honor the Patriots with a new shoe, made out of two game balls used in Super Bowl 51.
Nike is considered the best shoe company out there by many people, and their team has developed yet another mind-blowing idea. The company announced that they will be honoring the New England Patriots, by making a shoe out of two footballs used during Super Bowl 51. The name of the shoe will be called the Nike Air Force 1 Low SB51 Comeback, to honor the amazing comeback the Patriots made when they were down 28-3 to the Atlanta Falcons.
Pretty much the entirety of the shoe is made out of the two footballs, including the laces of the shoe being made from the laces in the football. Very fitting. The Patriots’ team logo will also be featured on the shoe, as well as the details of the game. Nike also revealed that the shoe will first be displayed at Patriot Hall on Oct. 20 and 21. Then it will be displayed at Gillette Stadium on Oct. 22, when the Patriots will host the Falcons for a very anticipated Super Bowl 51 rematch.

The Patriots have had struggles on the defensive end during their first six games played, but their offense has helped shoulder the load to their 4-2 start this season. On other side, the Falcons have also struggled to find consistency, as they stand are currently 3-2 to start the season. Both teams are loaded with talent and are still poised to take over their divisions when it’s all said and done. This game of course isn’t necessarily a must win with a lot of football still left to play, but don’t tell that to either of them. Atlanta will be looking to avenge their tough loss, while New England will be looking to reign supreme once again.
