Taking a look at the best ESPN College GameDay signs from Happy Valley in Week 8 ahead of the huge Penn State vs. Michigan clash on Saturday.

It doesn’t matter which way you look at it, the Penn State Nittany Lions are buzzing right now. After Clemson’s loss last week, they’ve moved into the No. 2 spot in the country. What’s more, they have the leading Heisman Trophy candidate in Saquon Barkley. As such, it only figured that ESPN College GameDay would head to Happy Valley ahead of their huge showdown with the Michigan Wolverines.

This matchup is huge both in the Big Ten and on a national level. Yes, Michigan does have one loss on their record. And they have indeed been struggling. However, a big win and turning things around could certainly change their fortunes. Meanwhile, Penn State can stay perfect and be a shoo-in for the College Football Playoff.
