Kyra Batara vs. Paulina Granados set to headline Combate 19
Combate Americas is bringing an exciting card to Texas that features fan favorite Kyra Batara.
Combate Americas is headed to Texas and are bringing a cracking atomweight main event. Kyra Batara and Paulina Granados will square off in the main event on Friday, Dec. 1 in a very exciting match-up.
TS-1 promotions, the promoter of the card, confirmed the announcement of the card and three fight bookings to FanSided MMA on Thursday.
Batara (6-4) is undefeated as a Combate fighter and recorded an impressive win in her last outing. The 23-year old submitted 12-time national Spanish Judo Champion Vanessa Rico in July. Three of her four promotional wins are via submission, which comes as no surprise for an Eddie Bravo protegé.

Granados (4-2) will be looking to win her third straight fight after beating Jenna Serio and Stephanie Alba via unanimous decision. Both of which came as a Combate Americas fighter. The former Legacy FC fighter will be looking to add a huge name to win column in December.
TS1-Promotions also announced that a duo of featherweights will square off as Andres Quintana will face Rey Trujillo in the night’s co-main event and Jose Estrada will meet Jesse Vasquez.
Quintana (12-2) is aiming for his third consecutive win after earning back-to-back unanimous decisions over Erick Sanchez and Mexican contender Levy Saul Marroquin. The 26-year old favors the striking and has nine wins via TKO/KO.
Trujillo (21-19) is a very experienced fighter and throughout his eight-year professional career has shown that he is not to be taken lightly. The 35-year old has stoppage victories in 16 of his 21 wins and will more than likely trade with his young opponent.
Estrada (4-1) is set to return at featherweight after a successful debut against Izic Fernandez in September. Fernandez was on the receiving end of severe beating and with that, this fight with Vasquez (2-3) is sure to have the fans on their feet. After starting off 2-0 as professional, Vasquez has dropped three straight and will be looking to kick-start his career with a win over a fan favourite.
