In a Sunday Night Football matchup, the Pittsburgh Steelers will head to the Motor City to take on the Detroit Lions inside Ford Field.

The final game of the Sunday slate will feature two teams who made it to the playoffs last season, as the Pittsburgh Steelers will travel to Detroit to take on the Lions. The Lions are coming off their bye week, and have had two weeks to prepare for one of the better offenses in the AFC. Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers are really hitting their stride, and are coming off a big divisional win against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 7.

For the Lions, they have to start stringing together wins if they want to come out on top in the NFC North. The Green Bay Packers are without starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers for likely the rest of the season, which leaves the division up for grabs. The Steelers will be a great test for Detroit, but the Lions are tough at home, and Ford Field should be rocking in this one.

Matthew Stafford has been dealing with an injury as of late, but he was back at practice this week for the Lions. Detroit made him the highest-paid player in the NFL this past offseason, and he has certainly earned his paycheck this season. This game will feature two of the top signal-callers in the game, so expect a bunch of touchdowns through the air in this one.

Odds

Line: Pittsburgh Steelers (-3.0)

Over/Under: 45.0

The Steelers are a three-point road favorite in this game, as they have proven they can win on the road this season. The over/under of 45.0 points is a good one, as both of these teams have the talent on offense to light up the scoreboard. This line will change a lot throughout the week, so head on over to Sportsbook Review for any changes up until kickoff.

Prediction

Going on the road and beating the Lions is tough, but the Steelers have the firepower to do just that. Running back Le’Veon Bell is playing at an MVP level right now and is fresh off running all over the Bengals last weekend. He will find room to work against this Lions defense, and in the end, will be the difference for the Steelers, who will leave the Motor City with a win.

Final Score: Steelers 27 Lions 24
