The Houston Rockets will host the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night. Here is how to watch this Western Conference NBA game online via live streaming.

All but two NBA teams will be in action Wednesday night, including the Rockets and Nuggets, who will square off in a matchup of high-powered offenses.

Tipoff is slated for 8:00 p.m. EST (7:00 CT) on Nov. 22, 2017 at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX. The Nuggets broadcast will air on Altitude Sports while AT&T SportsNet – Southwest will carry the Rockets feed. The game can also be streamed live on NBA League Pass and FuboTV.

Both teams enter the game clearly in the playoff picture. The Rockets (13-4) sit atop the Western Conference standings (along with the Warriors, who have an identical record) while Denver (10-7) exists amid the fray of teams that will battle for the final few playoff spots in the West.

Houston, already stocked with an army of versatile wings and an MVP candidate in James Harden, now has Chris Paul back in the lineup after he missed 13 games with a knee injury. It will be Paul’s third game since his return. The Rockets trail only the Golden State Warriors in offensive rating, and their 121.1 points per 100 possessions with Paul on the floor would be an NBA best. On the other end of the floor, Houston has been the seventh-stingiest defense in the league, giving them the NBA’s second-best point differential.

The Nuggets, led by talented young center Nikola Jokic, have begun to right the ship a bit after a shaky start to the year. Denver owns the sixth-best offense in the league, and while Jokic is the head of the attack, the Nuggets spread out their scoring evenly. Six players average double-figure points and nine play at least 10 minutes per game. Denver also ranks fifth in the NBA in assists per game, yet no player averages more than 4.5 assists.

In a night full of great League Pass action, this game might be the most intriguing (Warriors/Thunder airs on ESPN). Houston targets and exploits mismatches as well as any team other than the Warriors, and it will be fascinating to see how often and how effectively they attack Jokic, a middling defender, in the pick-and-roll. The sample size of Harden and Paul playing together is still miniscule, and each game provides a deeper look into how the team might fare going forward.

For Denver, this game represents a major test for a struggling defense. On both an individual and team level, defending Houston’s calculated attack of 3-pointers and dunks requires constant focus and effort, as well as the ability to contain the pick-and-roll effectively. This matchup could resurface in the form of a playoff series, and this game will be a useful measuring stick for both teams.
