Leicester have scored the eighth-most goals in the Premier League this season but have struggled to defend at times this season. Manager Claude Puel has improved the Foxes defense after a disappointing starter under former manager Craig Shakespeare. In four games under Puel, Leicester have allowed five goals. In the first nine games, the Foxes allowed 14 goals. Offensively, Leicester continue to rely on Jamie Vardy, Shinji Okazaki, and Riyad Mahrez. The trio have combined to score 12 of the club’s 17 goals.

After a midweek Champions League win in Dortmund, Tottenham got off to a slow start against West Brom. The Baggies scored in the fourth minute, with Harry Kane scoring the equalizer in the 74th. Kane has been Tottenham’s best player this season, scoring nine goals in 12 Premier League games. However, Kane’s running mates Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen have cooled off the past month. Alli has not scored in the past four games, while Eriksen has gone five games without a goal. Defensively, only Manchester City and Manchester United have allowed fewer goals than Tottenham.
