We have a tasty seven game slate on FanDuel EPL DFS today. We have you covered for all the best tips, picks and analysis.

Yesterday gave us three Premier League games as an appetizer for today’s main entreé. Chelsea shuffled their pack to give Pedro and Willian starts. Both scored and Willian grabbed two assists to help punters cash.

We have five of the ‘big six’ teams playing today, all in fixtures they are expected to win and in al in games that are favorites to be over 2.5 goals. With Chelsea winning against Huddersfield easilt and Burnley creeping up into the top four, all these teams need to win to keep pace. This means there will be goals and lots of them.

I’m expecting a high winning score at the top of GPP’s nearer – 300+ FanDuel points. That means we need to be thinking about players that can get us 5x value.

My articles are broken down into fixtures, flyers and fades: Fixtures are those you need to build your lineups around. Flyers are the gambles and the punts; cheaper or lesser known players in great positions for a break out game. Fades are those you need to avoid; I think who you choose to fade in soccer DFS is more important than in any other DFS sport.

Finding value will be crucial today as you will be looking to stack your team with lots of high-end attackers. I’ll be on hand on Twitter @davidgatesports to chat through lineups from 1:45pm EST. Happy to give advice with any surprises on the team sheets.

FanDuel EPL: Fixtures

Every attacker from Man City, Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal and Tottenham will be in play today. There are two approaches to take with this. The most common strategy is to stack teams and hope the one you’ve picked is the one that gets 4+ goals. The other way is to take a shot at picking a mixed line up and hoping it is your guys who hit. Classic risk/reward strategies.

There are a number of players who I think are underpriced on this slate and they will be the core of my teams. For Spurs you have Christian Eriksen (9500) and Son Heung-Min (9000). Any time Eriksen is under 10k I am interested. He is the main supply line for Harry Kane. The England striker is at 13.5k today and overpriced to a Brighton side have only conceded 9 goals in 8 away games. I think they let in at least two today but you will need 67 points from Kane to make value. That’s three goals.

Liverpool are always a threat to go off for a big game. Klopp has been rotating his team a lot and I’m expecting Premier League top scorer Mohamed Salah to be rested. That opens up a greater ceiling for Sadio Mane (8500) and Roberto Firmino (10500).

Arsenal always seem to burn me but I can’t ignore them on this slate against West Ham. I love Alexandre Lacazette (9500) against the Hammers who have conceded more goals in their own penalty area (29) than any other team in the EPL.

Swansea are the worst home side and Man City are the best away side. Two plus two is four. Quick maths. Obviously every Man City is an option but Leroy Sane (8500) is sitting there at only 500 more than Sigurdsson or Ritchie. That’s crazy.

FanDuel EPL: Flyers

Which are the players that are going to help you fit all these attackers in your lineup? I’m starting with Adrian (4000) in goal. He is as cheap as you can get and has a good matchup with Arsenal. David Moyes dropped Joe Hart at the weekend and I expect the Spaniard to play again tonight.

Danny Rose (5000) is expected to be rotated in today at left back for Tottenham Hotspur. He is a must play for me in GPP today as he had that 5x value upside in a great matchup against Brighton.

After those two there are a handful of defender at $4.5k that I can get behind. My favorite is Arthur Masuaku (4500) who is a left back who played as a left winger on Saturday. He is should get plenty of auxiliary stats tracking Bellerin and Arsenal forwards while having some attacking upside. I also like Victor Lindelof (4500), Eliaquim Mangala (4500) and Matteo Darmian (4500) if he starts.

I am not looking at value at all in the Forward position unless something super cheap comes up on the team sheets. I am more open to value at midfield but I want to really see something that will make me pivot from my fixtures. James Ward Prowse (5500), Christian Atsu (6000) and Erik Lamela (6000) are the players I’m looking out for.

FanDuel EPL: Fades

I can’t advocate a dead cert fade of Man Utd today but when constructing multiple lineups you have to narrow down your options. Too much of a spread and you find that none of your lines soar. I do expect a reaction from Man Utd after Sunday’s humiliation by Man City. Simply they are not the same without Paul Pogba. Until he returns I am cautious of backing them, especially when there are many other great options on the slate.

As I already said I think Harry Kane is too expensive on this slate to pay up. I am going to fade him in GPP and hope the Wembley curse returns! If you can string together enough value elsewhere then he is in play for cash games.

No Man City player has played more minutes than Kevin de Bruyne this season. This is the time of year where that heavy usage starts to bear its toll. I am expecting his production to dip a little until he gets some good rest.

Don’t be tempted by expensive defenders today. You can get it done with 5k or under. There are a handful of attacking full backs and center backs whose game logs are inflated by goals. Chasing goals from defenders on a large slate is a fool’s errand. Obviously there will be some defenders scoring but it is throwing and dartboard with a blindfold on.

FanDuel EPL: Lineups

Note: these are sample lineups and are not optimized. The only guarantee I can give you is that I will playing them too. I will also have some lines that are not here. Best thing is to take some of these picks and build your own lineup – especially in GPP – as lineup sharing only reduces the amount you can win.
