FanDuel NFL: Week 15 lineup
If you’re out of the mix in your season-long fantasy football league and shifting focus to DFS, here’s a lineup to roll with in FanDuel contests for Week 15.
As usual, before unveiling my FanDuel lineup for this week, here’s a look at the Week 14 results.
Quarterback: Eli Manning-11.12 points
Running Backs: Alfred Morris-10 points, Lamar Miller-7 points
Wide Receivers: Keenan Allen-14.1 points, Larry Fitzgerald-6.9 points, Josh Gordon-14.4 points
Tight End: Travis Kelce-10.9 points
Kicker: Robbie Gould-17 points
Defense: Cincinnati Bengals-1 point
You know it’s bad when the kicker is the highest scorer. Two touchdowns from the entire group is also not ideal, along with a surprising incredible dud from the Bengals defense. My bet on Manning as a contrarian play did not work out.
To keep up with all of FanSided’s DFS NFL coverage, head over to the fantasy football hub where each week you can find a post like this tailored for DraftKings as well as one specifically designed for usage on FanDuel. In this post, all salary and “fantasy points” references are to the FanDuel scoring system (unless otherwise noted) and salaries. Here’s my FanDuel NFL lineup for Week 15.
Quarterback: Blake Bortles, Jacksonville Jaguars-$7,400
Bortles has been on a nice roll lately, with multiple passing touchdowns and zero interceptions over the last two games and multiple touchdowns accounted for in three straight. Going back a little further, he has posted more than 18 fantasy points (Yahoo! scoring) in six of his last seven games (more than 20 fantasy points in four of his last five).
Now in Week 15 Bortles gets the Houston Texans, who have the league’s 26th-ranked pass defense and are in a tie for the third-most fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks (ESPN scoring) through 14 weeks.
Bortles is set up to succeed on Sunday, which would point to a big let down for those who are skeptical. But the matchup is too good to look away from, in DFS or a regular season-long fantasy league.
