As FanDuel NFL contests for Week 14 roll out, here’s a lineup to deploy.

Before I unveil my Week 14 FanDuel NFL lineup, let’s take a look at the results from Week 13.

Quarterback: Philip Rivers-17.56 points
Running Backs: Todd Gurley-18.8 points, Alex Collins-22.8 points
Wide Receivers-DeAndre Hopkins-12 points, Adam Thielen-7.1 points, Zay Jones-3.2 points
Tight End: Jared Cook-1.4 points
Kicker: Matt Bryant-10 points
Team Defense: Jacksonville Jaguars-12 points

My losing streak continues. Rivers, the running backs, Bryant and the Jaguars defense were all fine, as was Hopkins on some level. But Thielen, Jones and Cook took the lineup down with them.

To keep up with all of FanSided’s DFS NFL coverage, head over to the fantasy football hub where each week you can find a post like this tailored for DraftKings as well as one specifically designed for usage on FanDuel. In this post, all salary and “fantasy points” references are to the FanDuel scoring system (unless otherwise noted) and salaries. If you have any additional questions or thoughts, or are looking for updates as we approach kickoff, follow @FanSidedFantasy on Twitter or tweet me @bradberreman24.

With no more buildup to offer, here is my FanDuel lineup for Week 14.

Quarterback: Eli Manning, New York Giants-$6,000

Manning was benched for Week 13, but after the firing of head coach Ben McAdoo he’ll get the starting job back this week. He’s not having a good season, averaging 219.2 passing yards per game over his 11 starts, but the two-time Super Bowl MVP is in a good spot this week.

The Dallas Cowboys have the NFL’s 21st-ranked pass defense, and they are in the bottom half of the league in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks (17.7 per game; ESPN scoring). Dallas has also allowed multiple passing touchdowns in each of its last five games, and in nine out of 12 games this year.

Manning is as much of a contrarian play in DFS as there can be this week. But I’m betting on some extra motivation percolating beneath the surface, and what may turn out to be one last hoorah in a Giants uniform on Sunday.
