DraftKings has brought the Euro League state side! They even have an app where we can watch the games that our picks are involved in! What I want to know is how long before Fox Sports starts airing these games live? Make it happen already!
The Euro league is a different animal. It is much more halfcourt oriented than the NBA game. The games are also eight minutes shorter. There are 16 teams in the Euro League instead of 30. That means a more shallow player pool to choose from!
Round 16 of the Euro League season kicks off with the return of Calathes, but only three games overall. Hey, that’s still bigger than the stateside NBA slate!

Guards:
Nick Calathes ($13,400): Calathes was one of the better contributors before losing rounds 14 and15 to a shoulder bruise. All signs are that he will be back in action for Athens tonight. There may be a little rust, but this matchup with Efes is too good to just ignore. The potential is here for a very good game for Calathes. He put up a staggering 59.25 DraftKings points in the first matchup with Efes.
Nemanja Nedovic ($10,900): When it comes to a second tier guard, that’s a tough one to fill today. I don’t really want to bother with the de Colo/Sergio situation for CSKA (take Sergio if you want one), so it makes sense to step down a touch to Nedovic. Huertel is matching up against CSKA, who defensively has the best backcourt in the league. Nedovic has been on a roll lately and has a good matchup. If you don’t have the extra cash, I also like Erick Green in this tier.
Cory Higgins ($8,100): This is the reason that it is hard to rely on de Colo anymore. The minutes on both Higgins and de Colo are fluctuating a lot lately. It’s hard to tell which one of them is going to see the larger run. However, Higgins did manage 36.25 DraftKings points against Barcelona in the first meeting. That may or may not mean anything here.
Matt Lojeski ($5,400): Lojeski will still be the starter with Calathes back, so I’m still inclined to use him for salary relief. He struggled against Efes in the first meeting, but that was before Lojeski was seeing the minutes that he is now. If you need salary relief, Lojeski and McCallum are the best options.
Forwards:
Chris Singleton ($10,600): The minutes fluctuation on Gist is very frustrating for DFS play. It’s time to go back to Singleton, who gets the consistent minutes. I don’t like the matchup for Dunston or Stimac at all. I’m playing the other side of this one, but still staying away from Gist until the minutes level off.
Adam Hanga ($8,500): Hanga now has at least 22 DraftKings points in each of the last five rounds. The last time he was under was against tonight’s opponent in Moscow. Can Hanga handle CSKA better at home? Considering his recent production, I would consider it possible. The safest thing to do may be to go with the consistent production of Seraphin for around the same price.
Tibor Pleiss ($7,700): I am seriously considering both Pleiss and Dubljevic tonight due to the great matchup with Unicaga. Both broke the 20 DraftKings point mark in the first meeting. Dubljevic has the higher upside and Pleiss is the most consistent for those of you only using one.
Ante Tomic ($4,400): Barcelona has seen something that they like in Tomic lately. He has 47.75 DraftKings points in 44 minutes over the last two contests. His minutes are not a guarantee, but with Tomic playing as well as he is, he should be in there for at least half the game.
