It will be madness when Alabama and Georgia meet in the college football National Championship Game on Monday, Jan. 8, but what channel is the game on?

When you think about the Alabama Crimson Tide and Georgia Bulldogs, it’s likely that you’re pondering the elite programs in college football. That’s undoubtedly true, which makes what fans are about to see on Monday, Jan. 8 that much more special. That’s because the Tide and the Dawgs will meet in Atlanta in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.

These two teams have looked the pats of the most dominant clubs in the country this season. Each have just one loss — ironically both coming against Auburn — though UGA was able to avenge theirs in the SEC Championship. Alabama, however, wasn’t in that game, but still made it to the National Championship.

Obviously these are top-tier players taking the field, which rules plenty of the narrative. However, this is also a fun coaching matchup. The great Nick Saban remains on the sideline for Alabama. Opposite of him, though, is his former assistant, Kirby Smart. As such, we could see a feeling-out process between mentor and protege.

As you’d likely expect, ESPN has the broadcast for the College Football Playoff National Championship. However, the game can’t only be seen there. While you can find Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit and the traditional broadcast there, you have plenty of other options.

ESPN will once again be putting on their MegaCast for the National Championship Game. As such, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN News, ESPN3, ESPN Deportes and so on will all have special broadcasts from the Sky Cam to the “Homer’s Broadcast” featuring former players from each program and so on. Thus, you should have a hard time not finding the title game on Monday night.
