Myles Turner is currently out with an elbow strain and will miss some time. But Turner is still making an impact on his teammates with his celebrations from the bench.

Myles Turner may be out with injury but that’s not going to stop him from cheering on his teammates with a little extra oomph. For instance, his reaction to this Lance Stephenson 3-pointer during the Pacers comeback against the Cavaliers.

Last night, the Pacers cruised to a comfortable win against the Utah Jazz. Turner got so excited while celebrating a Cory Joseph 3, he ripped his pants.

He took the pants mishap in stride.

Turner is quite literally the Pacers’ biggest cheerleader and hype man this season.

Though his rim protection skills and ability to stretch the floor will be missed by the Pacers.
In the meantime Turner will continue showing why he is the consummate team player.

Fortunately the return of likely All-Star Victor Oladipo has the Pacers returning to their winning ways. Lighting up social media with funny moments and memes is a big part of what’s made this Pacers season such a fun surprise. From the antics of Lance Stephenson and his air guitar to the Oladipo camera stare that inspired meme makers on Twitter.

It’s been a frustrating season for Turner. Injuries have impacted his 2017-18 campaign.

At the same time, he’s a key part of the future.  And with Oladipo playing like an All-Star and Domantas Sabonis giving starter-quality minutes, the future looks bright in Indy.

In the meantime, the Pacers can count on their happy-go-lucky big man to cheer them on to victory. Let’s hope Myles has a big wardrobe budget, he’ll need plenty of new pants.
