Here’s a list of the confirmed names that will be appearing on the 25th anniversary episode of WWE Monday Night RAW.

When WWE Monday Night RAW debuted on Jan. 11, 1993, I don’t know if even Vince McMahon himself thought that we’d be preparing to celebrate the 25th anniversary of what has easily become the most successful television program in professional wrestling … err … sports entertainment history.

Over the course of nearly 1,300 episodes of RAW, Monday nights have been filled with great moments and superstars, and this upcoming Monday may end up being the biggest night in the history of the show as current and former superstars will take part in the 25th anniversary celebration of WWE’s flagship program.

Starting at 8:00 p.m. Eastern/7:00 Central on the USA Network, RAW 25 will take place at two  different sites, something that hasn’t been done in quite a while. In fact, the last time I remember that happening was when WWE acquired WCW in March 2001.

The simulcast’s first hour will take place in the Grand Ballroom of the Manhattan Center, which hosted that very first episode of RAW and again another 27 times. This will be the first RAW to take place there in more than two decades. The final two hours of the show will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

At present, it’s expected that the legends will be appearing at the Manhattan Center and the current WWE superstars will be at the Barclays Center. However, there has been plenty of talk that some will be appearing at both venues, which I’m quite certain is what most of us want to see. While it’s going to be amazing to once again see some of the past superstars that made RAW what it is today, I want to see them mix it up a little bit with some of the newer generation.

While we’re guaranteed to see plenty of the current RAW roster, including WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, John Cena and the Intercontinental Championship match between Roman Reigns and The Miz, a few SmackDown Live superstars have been invited to the festivities as well. Commissioner Shane McMahon, General Manager Daniel Bryan, WWE Champion AJ Styles, Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, Randy Orton, The New Day and The Usos will also be on hand. However, the big draw for the night is obviously the past superstars. Over the past month, more and more names keep coming in and the confirmed list for RAW 25 is absolutely phenomenal. Here’s the list of who we know will be in New York this Monday.

  • The Undertaker
  • Stone Cold Steve Austin
  • Ric Flair
  • Shawn Michaels
  • Triple H
  • New Age Outlaws
  • X-Pac
  • Scott Hall
  • Chris Jericho
  • The Dudley Boyz
  • JBL
  • Ron Simmons
  • William Regal
  • The Bella Twins
  • Trish Stratus
  • Eric Bischoff
  • Ted Dibiase
  • MVP
  • Sgt. Slaughter
  • The Boogeyman
  • Christian
  • Brother Love
  • Teddy Long
  • John Laurinaitis
  • The Godfather
  • The Brooklyn Brawler
  • Mean Gene Okerlund
  • Harvey Wippleman
  • Jacqueline
  • Kelly Kelly
  • Michelle McCool
  • Terri Runnels
  • Torrie Wilson
  • Maria Kinellis

It also wouldn’t shock me if they went ahead and threw a few surprises in there for us as well. I’m not counting on anyone like Hulk Hogan or CM Punk showing up but hey, this is WWE. You just never say never.

Another big announcement that came recently was the news that WWE Hall of Famers Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler will reunite and will be on the call for the action at the Manhattan Center. Ring announcers Howard Finkel and Lillian Garcia are also booked for the event.
