After a remarkable start to the Premier League, Huddersfield have endured a rough couple of months. David Wagner’s side have not won in league play since December 16th and have lost three straight. They are still in 14th place in the table, which would be safe except for the fact they’re only two points out of the relegation zone. The Terriers don’t attack or defend particularly well, as they’re tied for third worst in goals scored and 4th worst in goals given up. They’ll need to shape up one way or another to ensure their place in the league next year.
Liverpool are in a two match losing streak in all competitions. They lost 1-0 to last placed Swansea last week in the Premier League and 3-2 to West Ham in the FA Cup. Jurgen Klopp’s side has had quite the roller coaster of a season so far. They’ve proven that they can beat any side in the league, but also have the propensity to drop points the same way. Nothing proves that point more than their last two matches in the league, where they beat first place Manchester City then lost to bottom of the table Swansea in consecutive weeks.
