Get revved up and check out who will be challenging defending Cup Series champion Martin Truex Jr. all season long in 2018.

There’s no question some changes are afoot in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series garage for the 2018 season.

For starters, there’s a new top gun in 2017 Cup Series champion Martin Truex Jr. He’ll be going it alone defending his crown, as Erik Jones has switched to Joe Gibbs Racing, replacing Matt Kenseth, and Furniture Row Racing is returning to its one-car roots.

Elsewhere, the biggest domino to fall was the retirement of Dale Earnhardt Jr. That’s led to a shuffle of sorts with Chase Elliott sporting a new number (No. 9 just like his Awesome dad), Alex Bowman replacing Junior in the 88 and 2017 XFINITY Series champion William Byron taking over for Kasey Kahne.

Kahne is still in the mix, joining Ryan Blaney, Aric Almirola and Paul Menard as notable Cup Series drivers to switch teams. Keep track of who’s driving what with our handy dandy team and driver chart, which we’ll update as needed throughout the 2018 season.

Current as of Feb. 5, 2018.
