The Olympic men’s hockey tournament in PyeongChang has now moved to the quarterfinal round, with Team USA taking on the Czech Republic to start things off on Tuesday night United States time.

Team Canada earned a bye into the quarterfinals during pool play, while Finland had to beat South Korea 5-2 in an elimination round game to earn their spot. The Canadians and the Finns have two of the better goal differentials thus far in Olympic play, so a good, highly competitive contest is surely coming.

Here’s what you need to know about when the puck will drop for the Canada vs. Finland Olympic men’s hockey quarterfinal, and most importantly how you can watch it live.

The winner of Canada-Finland will play the winner of the Sweden-Germany quarterfinal, which will be going on at the same time Wednesday morning stateside, in a semifinal game on Friday morning United States time.

Quarterfinal winners will also obviously keep their medal hopes alive for this Winter Olympics. Anything less than a medal will go down as a disappointment for the Canadian or Finnish men’s teams, so the loser on Wednesday will go home from South Korea with a failure to meet expectations.

An Olympics without NHL players has definitely led to a lack of casual interest in men’s hockey, and a relative lack of buzz has come too. But now is the time to start watching the games if you haven’t been, even with early morning and late-night start times, as the stakes are getting higher and the best teams will separate themselves as they sniff the prospect of a medal.
