Bournemouth have been struggling as of late. Eddie Howe’s squad have only won one of their last five matches in the Premier League and are win-less in their last four.
Multiple 4-1 losses, to Tottenham and Huddersfield, have sandwiched draws with Leicester and Newcastle.
The Cherries are still six points clear of relegation and with West Brom players appearing to have given up on the season, they should comfortably grab all three-points at home on Saturday.
Two of Bournemouth’s seven games after this one are against top-four sides Liverpool and Manchester United. Three of the others are against teams in the relegation scrap with them, Crystal Palace, Swansea City, and Southampton – who just fired their manager Mauricio Pellegrino.
West Brom would probably need to win their eight remaining games this season if they wanted to stay up. That doesn’t seem likely considering Manchester United, Liverpool, and Tottenham are still on their schedule.
When they went up 1-0 against Leicester last week they almost looked surprised, and then pessimistic as if they knew the four-goals they would end up conceding were inevitable.
Baggies players said, anonymously, last week that they were surprised manager Alan Pardew still had his job. Any team who drops points against the Midlands based club in the final stretch of the season here must consider that a poor result.
